Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 June 2026 Effective date: 11 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Ikkuna hepreaan Ay processes personal data when you visit vibe-coding4elearning.com ("the site") and take the free eLearning courses hosted there. It is written to be readable. If anything is unclear, you can write to us — contact details are at the end.
1. Who we are (the data controller)
Ikkuna hepreaan Ay is the controller of personal data processed through this site.
- Business ID (Y-tunnus): 2706118-8
- Registered office: Heinävesi, Finland
- Privacy contact: privacy@vibe-coding4elearning.com
- Legal contact: legal@vibe-coding4elearning.com
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers personal data we collect when you visit the site or use its courses. It does not cover websites we link to. When you follow a link from our site to a third-party site (for example, any tool we reference), that site's privacy practices govern your visit there.
3. Personal data we collect
We have designed the site to collect as little personal data as possible.
3.1 Automatically collected (analytics)
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how the site is used. This service collects:
- Pages visited and the order they were visited in
- Approximate country of origin (derived from IP address, then discarded)
- Referrer (the page that linked you here, if any)
- Device type, browser, and operating system (general categories — e.g. "desktop, Chrome on Windows")
- Date and time of visit
Vercel Web Analytics is designed to be privacy-preserving: it does not use cookies, does not create profiles across sessions, and does not retain raw IP addresses. We cannot identify individual visitors from this data.
3.2 Stored in your browser (not transmitted to us)
The course uses your browser's local storage to remember your progress so the course resumes where you left off when you return. The values stored are:
- Which module you most recently visited
- Which modules you have completed
- Whether you have completed the course
- Your theme preference (light or dark)
- Your sidebar preference (expanded or collapsed)
- Your language preference
- Your current lesson position (for reload restore)
- Your responses to in-module checklists (M9 only)
This data never leaves your device. We do not have access to it. It is not sent to any server. If you clear your browser data, the progress is reset.
3.3 Information you choose to send us
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. We keep that correspondence only for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record for any follow-up.
3.4 What we do not collect
We do not require you to create an account. We do not ask for your name, email address, or any other identifying information to access the courses. We do not collect payment information — the courses are free. We do not run paid advertising and do not use advertising trackers on this site. Links to partner tools may include a referral code that tells the partner your visit came from this site. The code does not identify you, and anything that happens after you click is governed by the partner's own privacy policy.
4. Legal bases for processing (GDPR Article 6)
| Processing activity | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Showing you the site and serving course content | Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) — operating the site you came to use |
| Analytics with Vercel | Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) — measuring usage without identifying you, balanced against your privacy by choice of a cookieless, profile-free analytics service |
| Responding to your emails | Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) — you contacted us; replying is the expected outcome |
We do not rely on consent because we do not place tracking cookies or do anything that would require it.
5. Third-party services that may process data
Operating a website inherently involves third parties. We have chosen ones that minimize what gets processed.
| Service | Role | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel Inc. (USA) | Hosting and analytics | Your IP address (to deliver pages), your interaction with the analytics described in §3.1 |
| Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) | DNS resolution and email routing | Your IP at the DNS lookup stage; nothing more for normal site visits. Email aliases route messages to our mailbox. |
| Google LLC (USA) | Font delivery via Google Fonts | Your IP address when your browser fetches the font files. Google receives the request to serve the file. |
Cloudflare and Vercel act as our processors (we instruct them, they execute). Google Fonts acts as an independent service we link to; Google's own privacy terms apply when your browser fetches a font.
5.1 International transfers
Vercel, Cloudflare, and Google are US-based and may process data on US servers. These transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where applicable, supplemented by Standard Contractual Clauses for additional safeguards. The amount of personal data transferred is minimal (IP address for technical delivery; analytics data described above) and we have selected providers with strong privacy commitments.
6. How long we keep data
- Analytics data — Vercel retains aggregated analytics for up to 24 months by default. We do not download or store this data ourselves beyond what we view in the Vercel dashboard.
- Email correspondence — until we no longer need it for the conversation, typically up to 24 months.
- Browser local storage — under your control; persists until you clear it.
7. Your rights under GDPR
You have the following rights regarding personal data we hold about you:
- Access — ask what data we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure — ask us to delete data about you.
- Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data.
- Objection — object to our processing, including analytics.
- Portability — receive your data in a portable format where applicable.
- Withdrawal of consent — where processing is based on consent (currently none on this site).
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@vibe-coding4elearning.com. We will respond within one month. Because we collect so little identifying data, you may need to provide additional context (for example, an approximate date of visit) so we can locate any relevant records.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (Tietosuojavaltuutettu, tietosuoja.fi) or the data protection authority of your country of residence.
8. Cookies
We do not place tracking cookies. Some essential cookies may be set automatically by our hosting provider (Vercel) for security and load-balancing — these are functional cookies that do not identify you. See the separate Cookie Policy for details.
9. Children
This site and its courses are intended for users aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly process personal data of children under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has provided personal data to us, please email privacy@vibe-coding4elearning.com and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes (those that affect how we process your data) will be flagged on the site for at least 30 days.
11. Contact
For any privacy question, contact us at privacy@vibe-coding4elearning.com. For legal matters more broadly, legal@vibe-coding4elearning.com. For general questions about the platform, hello@vibe-coding4elearning.com.
