Cookie Policy
Last updated: 11 June 2026
This page explains how vibe-coding4elearning.com uses cookies and similar technologies. The short version: we have deliberately built the site to avoid tracking cookies. Only a small number of essential cookies may be set automatically by our hosting infrastructure.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website may place on your device when you visit. They are commonly used for analytics, advertising, personalization, and authentication. Many sites use cookies extensively; this one does not.
Cookies on this site
What we do not use
- No tracking cookies. We do not place cookies that track you across pages, across visits, or across websites.
- No advertising cookies. We do not run paid advertising on the site.
- No third-party analytics cookies. Our analytics provider (Vercel Web Analytics) is cookieless by design.
- No social media cookies. We do not embed social media widgets that would set cookies.
What may be set automatically
Our hosting provider (Vercel) may set a small number of strictly necessary cookies for purposes such as load balancing, security (for example, blocking automated abuse), and routing requests to the nearest server. These cookies:
- Do not identify you as an individual.
- Are not used for analytics, advertising, or profiling.
- Are required for the site to function reliably.
Under Finnish and EU law (ePrivacy Directive, Article 5(3)), strictly necessary cookies do not require consent.
Local storage (not a cookie, but related)
The course shell uses browser local storage — a separate mechanism from cookies — to remember your progress (which modules you have completed, your theme preference, your current lesson position, and similar). This data:
- Stays in your browser. It is not sent to us or to any third party.
- Is described in detail in our Privacy Policy, §3.2.
- Can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser's site data for
vibe-coding4elearning.com.
How to control cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies (to delete cookies: Delete browsing data → Cookies and other site data).
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy.
Because we use only strictly necessary cookies, blocking them may cause parts of the site to malfunction. If you experience issues after blocking cookies, this is the likely cause.
Changes to this policy
If we introduce any new cookies in the future — for example, if we add an optional analytics tool that uses cookies — we will update this page and notify you on the site before they are used. The "Last updated" date will reflect any change.
